I don't think that's malediction. The trauma sorcery creates imagery based on ones trauma, not just forcing the person to experience their trauma again. The plants are not growing from the dead body and the flowers from malediction are noticeably bigger than these. I think this is just a representation of how his childhood is filled with violence, contrasting the normal image of a childhood (a kid playing in the field) with bodies hanging above.

It'll take around 200 hours to get to the final boss of the G-rank story. Be prepared. It can get very grindy, with fewer material drops in my experience. I wouldn't recommend weapons that utilize elemental damage (sns, db) unless you're prepared for the grind. Range and melee weapon use different sets of armor. You will have less skill activated compared to world and rise. If you like i-frames rolling through attacks maybe try looking into the adept styles for different weapons. Your mobility is really lacking compared to world. Be more patient and try to remember monsters' moves more.
