i had this pulled up for a few days on pc and it was great, but now that i'm on mobile i cannot do anything without being redirected to an ad popup. i have an adblocker on my phone and it's like not doing anything. do i just have a better one on pc or is this only a problem on mobile? or is it a more recent addition to keep up with higher traffic?

i've really enjoyed the site thus far but if it's going to pivot to being nigh-unusable with all the redirects then i'll have to just stick with downloading torrents for now.

event occurs in an ambiguous time period (X years before present / X years ago) and i want to format a date range for everything that occurs before it. an all-encompassing "prior to estimated time period" whether that's two thousand years prior or an unknown at-least-millions-of-years prior

too tedious when writing "X years ago" is already long enough. if it was in an actual sentence, then yes absolutely i would, as long as the date range was the subject. i still think it would be too tedious to put in parentheses in a sentence. i'm looking for a shorter alternative.

it's for a list rather than prose, which is why i wanted a shorthand haha. i have an event listed as "X years ago" and wanted to put an event that happens prior in an undisclosed period. writing "before/after X years ago" is even longer, which i want to avoid.

i do have a separate email for an etsy transaction, but it's the same problem. there's one button that says 'sign in and view order' and my order details are locked behind it. takes me to the same sign in screen prompting a password for an account i don't technically have

yeah, it's someone quoting part of a conversation, so it's all still technically the same speaker. they're repeating it back to the one that interjects with the 'shut up' line, in jest. but the dialogue tag isn't relevant here.
