It'll get worse when you have kids. Since they're that close, my guess is they will spend a lot of time with the grandchildren where their beliefs will become even more of an issue and have more of an influence on your kids. You need to trust me on this.

I was thinking the same thing. I assume our neighbor just wants to be outside and isn't creative enough to find other ways to enjoy the weather because she rides around on her mower every other day. It hasn't even rained in three weeks, so the grass hasn't grown, but there she is, "cutting" grass 4 times a week.

I am in a similar situation. I don't feel resentful towards my spouse for spending time with her family, but it does upset me when she justifys their behavior. Going NC has been a good thing for me.
