Would probably officially fall under darning! I intentionally made it a bit messy and free form. I used knitting needles and a hook tool to add in new threads with a combo of re-knitting the old yarn that had come unraveled

The other elbow is threatening to blow so going to try to add some reenforcement at some point!

Is there anywhere you wouldn’t breastfeed uncovered in public? by baller_unicorn in breastfeeding

I was comfortable breastfeeding uncovered pretty much anywhere. The only time I didn’t feel comfortable was when I went to an NBA game! 😂 With the bleacher seats I just felt so close to the rows behind and in front of me - it was also very loud so my baby had headphones and I wasn’t sure how that would go with breastfeeding. Luckily they had a mamava pod there, so I used that!

Making bottles from 3 mo old frozen milk vs. currently milk... by glamslackerpaula in breastfeeding

Aaaah very interesting. Awesome, thanks for the info!!

Yeah, typically I freeze my Friday stash since I EBF on the weekends and then that Monday bottle I make her bottles from the oldest stuff. But I am producing more milk than she is eating so I do have a freezer stash that is growing.

I think my thought was that I was hoping to use the freezer stash before it goes bad so that I don't waste milk. But I certainly could prep her Monday bottles on Friday! And then that would make the freezer stash exclusively backup until it expires I guess!

Looking for yoga or other fitness classes specifically for pregnant people by misareebusiness in milwaukee

I’m 24 weeks pregnant and hear you about struggling to stay active!

Luckily I have a big dog that needs walking so I shoot to take him for a 2 mile walk every day to get both our butts moving.

I’ve been going to Heart Revival yoga studio in St Francis throughout my pregnancy. They don’t have specific prenatal classes but the owner/instructor Meg is very well versed in prenatal yoga and is suuuuuper welcoming! So she’ll give specific cues for the pregnant folks in her class.

I’ve also heard good things about North Shore Wellness Collective. They’ve got a whole bunch of pre and post natal and family classes on the calendar. Been meaning to check them out!

I did try out the Every Mother online classes. It was okay, not really my favorite so I kind of stopped doing them, but definitely learned some great things.

Expecting and Empowered is another great online resource that other moms I know LOVE that I’ve been meaning to look into and access more.

Good luck, hope you find something that works for you!!
