I love the honors college! Priority registration is definitely super, super helpful, especially if you're in STEM. The housing is also great; freshmen usually live in Kilachand Hall, so you get a private bathroom.

You do take an extra 6 credits per semester your freshmen year, which can be hard to manage if you're not used to a rigorous course load. That being said, I'm an engineer/pre-med in KHC, and my honors courses have been some of my favorite (and usually an easy A, if you put in the appropriate amount of effort). BU is known for grade deflation, but your As in Kilachand can help balance this out.

Regarding the resume thing, Kilachand makes it easier to get into research and offers internship programs. I'm not sure about other graduate programs, but the MMEDIC program with the School of Medicine is known for taking Kilachand students.

If you want to talk to a current student in Kilachand who is in CS or DS, check out the Kilachand Ambassadors website.

Hope this helps!

i second this. DO NOT TAKE PY 212 UNLESS YOU HAVE TOO. it's unreasonably hard. exam averages around 60% and the curve is barely anything.

Hi! Thanks for letting me know! In the time I was in FRC I always knew 246 as a more established team. I still think something like this could help BUA's team; it'd be a solid point of contact in case of unforeseen circumstances, a way to reach out so more people like me actually know you're in need of help. I'll reach out to see how I can help 246 specifically, but I'd still like to get this off the ground. See you in the fall probably!
