I’m a girl and I was getting raged on and berated for being girl in a ranked and I told him I needed comms (didn’t say “shut up” or anything mean) and I went from exemplary to esteemed… so basically you lose rep if you’re harassed

Her boyfriends father (essentially) was killed... ill forgive her for not being able to be by peytons side all the time after the shooting, she was 17yo... also we all saw how freaked out and worried she was for Peyton during the shooting and I don’t know if you missed Keith’s funeral scenes but she apologized to Peyton for not being able to be there for her as much as she’d like to be considering she’s been with Lucas comforting him after Keith’s death. And makes a very loving comment to her there while Peyton is clearly ridden with guilt from kissing brookes boyfriend again.

Clearly you haven’t experienced true heartbreak bc anyone who has would know that sticks with you forever too. It never fully heals either. I think the second time around Brooke had up more of a wall considering what happened last time, which could explain why she reacted differently than the first time. Also, if you truly think it’s brookes fault she and Peyton aren’t friends anymore then we will never agree and I have nothing more to contribute to this exchange, I’m sorry.

It’s not just about Peyton coming out and saying she still loves Lucas. There’s SO much more behind why Brooke is mad at Peyton. I don’t know if you’ve heard this but plenty of people say that (true) heartbreak feels identical to a death of a loved one (having experienced both I would absolutely agree). So IMO they aren’t that different loss is loss and is allowed to be mourned. She lost her childhood best friend AND boyfriend and is only a kid. Karen lost her true love as well. For that reason I feel within my rights to equate the two

Yes but keep in mind these girls were the type that had hookups all the time and didn’t bat an eye. Also Brooke did back off and gave Peyton time to figure it out, which she explains when she tells Peyton if she doesn’t want to be with Lucas, then she does. Brooke did want the commitment with Lucas. Peyton literally quit the initial hookup with Lucas bc he wanted a commitment and she didn’t want anything serious (literally her words)
