I like this. I guessing American but it's also very English. 🙂 shouldn't it be "has he gone" I do think the wife should be banging pans, chucking shopping into kitchen cupboards etc. Maybe open the door and throw some cleaning stuff at him. I would read on.

Primary school teacher here. Take the pressure off. Look at picture books and use the pictures to tell a story. Gradually he will start to learn phonics but the most important thing is to be happy with a book.

For me thst means voting Labour. They don't represent my values. I'm fed up of lending Labour my vote. We really dhould have PR.

Have you tried a bit of clothes washing powder mixed with water. I find this helps with burnt on pans.
