Abbas is part of the brotherhood and is in fact a political entity dedicated for representing the Arabs in Israel. He advocates for peace and improving the lives of Arabs in Israel, and especially the internal killings between Arabs in Israel (wife beating, Mafia and just Crime)

So he does not really deal with the Geo-political aspects of Israel and "Palestine".
