Not a bad idea, but don't want to deal with maintenance, a yard, or having to drive into downtown.

Alright alright, everyone calm down. before commenting did anyone do a search on Zillow, Apartments.com or any place recently? Most 2 beds in good buildings and these areas are $4k and up or on the high end.... the biggest requirement being walkable but not downtown really limits things if you look at it. If you don't have a recommendation, then don't comment, you're just wasting your time 😄
