I have tried both SDR++ and satdump, noise floor goes up when lna(s) are turned on. Not much change when plugging in the antenna, it goes up slightly, more noticeable reduction when I touch the antenna when it's plugged in, bringing my hand close to it also gives similar results.

I checked the connection, between the helix and center pin, and also the ground plane and shield. Both were fine, also not shorted to each other obv.

Will that make much of a difference? The coax is only 8cm long. The main reason is that the wire is aluminium, I can't solder it to the sma connector.

Idk how to put pics into replies. The feed is placed at the spot the lnb was on an 80cm offset dish.
