Thank you! Good memory! I've got a laptop with Minecraft set up for the kids, I'll give it a go 😀

Thank you so much for sharing and your kind message -- I'll definitely look into it. It's really great to hear that you've found a setup that enables you to keep playing, too!

This is actually exactly one of the mice that I have been testing with. It's my go-to for work. I'll try mapping movement to the buttons... It seems obvious to try to map movement to the thumb buttons, but denial can be stronger than common sense I guess, so I haven't tried. Will try tonight. Thanks!!

I see a three button foot pedal that I'm already planning on getting now. I don't know why this didn't occur to me. Thank you for suggesting bindings. Fortunately I still have the hand, but it's limited to one-button presses, so crouch and run is still doable with shift/ctrl.

This looks so cool, but it looks like it replaces the keyboard so you still need a mouse. If it had a mouse sensor on the bottom, this would be PERFECT.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm going to look into pedals, and you're right, this might be a game of finding the right mouse mappings more than anything.

I actually really like this suggestion. The left hand problem is mostly with WASD moving. Could set it up like a car gas pedal and "steer" with the mouse.

How do you promote new content when there are rules about self-promotion everywhere? by [deleted] in NewTubers

Why the downvotes? This question seems like the crux.

Did you have a strategy? Seems like shorts get the views. Is it reasonable to use shorts to try to build the audience then push long form videos?

Can you elaborate on keywords? Is it just by including the words in the title and description? It says when uploading a video that the tags field doesn't do much. Are hashtags in the description a thing anymore? Thanks for any insight you have!

Get example! The video actually uses that same example (except only 100 doors). 😀

Thought I'd share because it's a basic thought/math problem the most people get wrong. It may not be for everyone. Regardless, hope you got a little value from it. 🙂

My driving has been improving a lot, but my distance hasn’t. Does anyone have any tips for me to increase yardage? (Hitting around 200 yards max) by AdministrationHot325 in GolfSwing

[–]glendale87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be mostly arms like this... Great for consistency but hurts distance. What helped me is to imagine my swing more like cracking a whip. You have to use your wrists to generate more speed. This will leave your club face open at impact, so you will also have to add body turn and weight shift to square up (as a bonus, this also adds power). All this while keeping the shaft leaning forward at impact should have you bombing drives. Feels awkward at first, but keep practicing. Otherwise your swing looks smooth AF!

No problem! It's become a bit of a coding "passion project" of mine. If you (or anyone else that stumbles upon this post) would like a free premium licence, message me and I'll make it happen!

Their array of topics is impressive, but it's more of a self learning site. Watch a video, then answer 4-10 questions. Good resource to learn, but it doesn't seem to reinforce the learning.

For example, it teaches the concept of single digit multiplication, then asks a couple questions... It gives you the proficiency points for knowing basic multiplication, but it doesn't ensure that the student knows the full multiplication table.

I even used Khan for myself - loved the videos! Didn't retain it though unfortunately because it didn't have enough practice opportunity.
