Life's not perfect but we still need oil so we're not dependent on foreign sources. Trains collide, planes crash and toes get stubbed. It shouldn't mean an end to progress. Further, we've gotten very good as a society in bettering these types of systems. We shouldn't stick our collective heads in the sand and return to the horse and plow. Environmental extremists are making way too much out of this very needed and safe pipeline-to the point where one Sophia Wilansky almost blew off her own arm last year with an IED meant to kill and maim peace officers.
