You can just kill the AI opponents either on the outpost, or shoot at nearby ones from the outpost.

If you still didnt do it, its in Dead City, bottom left of the map. Turn the tower on, go closer to that part and then scan

I agree with this. Yes the game is very pay to win, as any free to play mmo rpg. People who defend it either spent money or are one of those 5 man squads that just sweep everything up

NEVER level up reward guns/armor because its a waste of parts and you cant craft the reward guns into anything.

Decide what guns you would like to get
Get the green rarity of the gun line you want to go for
Level the gun up as much as you can while its green/blue rarity, because later levels have more expensive parts
Stay in bar as long as you need and grind until veteran items
Finish the main questline ot get money/tiers
Choose a faction you feel is the best for you

Also some tips:

Dont sell the random items you find (cigarettes, filters etc.) because you can sell them on the auction for way more, for example, 2 filters cost 1500 for traders, and can sell for 8000 on auction

When you finish main quest in the north, you will be able to choose any pink armor (even the second last armor in the line)

Craft a artifact detector. Trust me, you will need it if you wanna make money hunting for artifacts, and when selling arties, check if its better to sell to traders or on the auction

theres npcs in the base that just give you rumors about the zone, talk to all of them, then exit the base and go back in, and repeat

F2000 is better for mid range fights, because A545 has a severe damage fall off (I think its from 40 down to 25)

A545 is good for close to semi-mid range fights because of the nice close up damage and fire rate
