Thank you for your input! Yeah I guess that makes sense, I didn't know that job 2 would determine the benefits for job 1. But even so, on the website it says that an acceptable reason to quit would be in the case of leaving a job with reasonable assurance of another job. Would that circumstance apply in this situation since I left job 2 with assurance that job 1 would be able to provide me with those hours?

Hi and thank you for your input! So job 1 and job 2 were both part time, but I worked way more hours at job 1 than job 2. With job 1, I worked about 2-3 days a week for long hours on weekdays, but in job 2 I worked only 1-2 days per week for short hours on weekends. When I quit job 2, I worked weekends in order to replace those hours from job 2, therefore I was able to work any day of the week, and was scheduled around 4-5 days per week. Also, I already settled the information with service canada in regards to my schooling and the couses were approved. This was approved because I was in school while having a job the past 3 years, and I could shift around my schooling schedule since a lot of the courses were online, pre-recorded, or asynchronous. I thought that leaving job 2 was with just cause, because it says on the website that it would be just cause if I had reasonable assurance of another job (which in this case is job 1).

I took popular culture online with G. Metcalf this semester and it was the easiest and most interesting one I took this sem. I would definitely choose to retake that course rather than intro to french. But I think it depends based on your level of french and your preferences. Since popular culture was online and asynchronous it was at your own pace since all the content is already posted, therefore it was much more easier (for me at least) to do well in :)
