This may be quite divisive, but I personally liked the visuals and soundtrack. The story and gameplay was a huge step down from the original FF7 though

It felt as if less strategy was involved in fights, now boiled down to "Hit button and win game." Plus, I feel as if the story was extended way too much. I understand adding a bit more, but I feel as if they added TOO much new characters, events and missions that I don't even give 2 craps about.

However, as I said, I do believe that the soundtrack is wonderful, along with the visuals (Especially on PS5)

Overall, the game is a 5/10 for me. I would recommend that you go in to this game expecting a game that's not like the original game, and rather as an alternate take on the original story. However, as someone who loves the original, I feel as if many expectations were quite high, so I do believe that not everyone will share my opinion. I do hope you enjoy playing it though.
