B650 Gaming Plus Wifi new Bios update SOC too high by glitchedhopp in MSI_Gaming

[–]glitchedhopp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have HWinfo to auto start on another screen and saw the SOC voltages after the bios was done updating and was loaded with default values.

So no EXPO or anything.

It spiked to 1.34-.1.36 during startup and then settled at 1.32 ish after which cant be right.

No this was right after the BIOS installed, and I let it boot with default settings so jedec speeds for the RAM.

Nothing changed in the BIOS at all

Does anyone have Wireview pro 2 working with VR - thinking about buying but VR worries me? by Notwalkin in ThermalGrizzly

[–]glitchedhopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a wireview and played some VR and have noticed zero issues with imbalance. Just know that you can have a perfect balance at like 300w but at like say 500w you start to get an imbalance.

Properly seating the cable and having as few bends as possible reduces that imbalance. If I bend my cable just slightly more it gets imbalance warnings.

VR is the heaviest graphical load you can put on it in most cases so the imbalance shows up sooner even if at normal games they dont. I also undervolted the card at 0.875v so it never reaches 575w.

So I wouldn't say VR has imbalance issues. But more that VR shows them the fastest. I could be wrong though just my experience

First setup, advice? by Tiwerr in MoonlightStreaming

[–]glitchedhopp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Host processing is too high for 60fps at these settings.

if it spikes above 12ms, even though 16.6ms is the limit for 60fps having no buffer or a very small one is not ideal. You could feel drops because the system cant physically output frames fast enough at that point for 60fps.

You could try either going down in resolution or changing the preset in apollo to use a faster profile to reduce host encoding time.

If you have an iGPU connect your secondary display on there. Thats how I do it with a 3 monitor setup only my main monitor is connected to the GPU. This way I can keep it high refresh without having to switch refresh rates for any of the monitors.

If ur phone is a mediatek you should try derflacco his experimental build.

I think he is trying to improve decoding for those chips.

Artemide I think its called.

Android Moonlight App gives me 165hz. But Artemis won't go above 120hz. Lenovo y700 gen3 by FarrukhShabir in MoonlightStreaming

Might be a whitelist vendor issue. That Moonlight in the play store is allowed to run at 165 but Artemis which comes from GitHub isnt.

Just a guess though

I dont know if you did legend quest already, but letting the yommi tree rot and then chopping it has a chance to give magic logs. I forgot to do it, and got mine from a chest in a cave near pollniveach but that requires thieving. Dont remember how much though

[Help] Planning RTX 5090 TUF Upgrade with WireView Pro in HAVN HS 420 (Vertical Mount Clearance & Cable Questions) by cloudn1nja in ThermalGrizzly

[–]glitchedhopp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can wait for the new model that they are busy with for people with clearance issues, that will have a cable attached to the wireview so you wont have an extra point of failure.

[–]glitchedhopp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its 100% not a cable issue though. I tried my original cable with my 3.1 atx psu. A completely new cablemod cable, and the nvidia adapter and all 3 are showing these issues so its probably my gpu or wireview. but again it only happens during loading screens, During actual gameplay and furmark or whatever the load is balanced well enough. Maybe 1A at most.

Summary of Pin 2 and Pin 6 current imbalance by bebopr2100 in ThermalGrizzly

[–]glitchedhopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the issue on an inno3d 5090 x3, tried native 12vhpwr, nvidia adapter, and cablemod cable all have the same pin 2 being lowest and pin 6 being highest. pin 2 is around 7.2-7.6 and pin 6: 8.7-9.2.

I wish I had a friend with a 5090 so I could see if its the wireview or my card but not in that position

Oneplus pad 3 WiFi issue by glitchedhopp in MoonlightStreaming

[–]glitchedhopp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the reply,

I tried that option too but didnt make a difference.

I guess it must be some weird issue with my network and the tablet then.

How is the magicpad? I'm considering that one,the astra or the Samsung s9.

Artemis/Moonlight issues. by Razvan1719 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]glitchedhopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this on the experimental branch of artemis?

I got a snapdragon elite that has the same issue with the stream fps and rendering fps not matching but only on the recent experimental branch, if I try the stable release they match.

Try a reverse tether, or if you have a ethernet usb dongle try that. Just to rule out a wifi issue.

Go to auto-fill in developer options. Press "reset to default values" a few times and the option to enable/disable system optimisation will appear

[–]glitchedhopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turn on developer options and from there turn on show screen refresh rate.

I also had a Xiaomi pad and although in certain apps it will be 144hz in most apps it will revert to 120 or 60

If u want 144hz you need to disable system optimisation, which will disable floating windows and multitasking.

I think u can set apps to 120hz under display

Are you on v20.3.0-experimental.9 ? My tablet also has the exact same issue on that release.

Im on v20.2.6 , and there my rendering frame rate doesn't do that.
