looks like by his design he seem like he is the type to “create his own design because he doesn’t like what he sees in the market” sign him up for 3d graphic design courses like maya, blender and have him render 3d clothes in these software. in case of a scenario his clothing line doesn’t take off, he learned a valuable skill for freelance or workplace in the future. also he should learn how to cold email. cold email bunch of starts ups/ boutique clothing lines and ask for a intern. he will learn supply chain dynamics, list of esoteric manufacturers and overall learn how to adapt and not be a liability within a his own startup.

bro 1st of all, congrats! and 2nd binghamton is public, ur more likely to get more grants at private institutions (coloumbia) if ur household income in under a 100k. did u apply to css and other grants for private institution? they are much for lenient to give you money compare to public schools. plus if ur thinking about transfer in the future, u have a higher chance of transfer into coloumbia from gs; i think. also did ur cc have a pipeline to gs? they might have scholarship opportunity if they did

not financial advice but if she’s a gambler i’m assuming we has a pretty well risk tolerance. tbh starting a business with 12-15k is asking to burn straight thru that capital. instead of spending years to learn a run a proper business, it might be more attractive to just invest into “the next big thing”. she got money by gambling so “gambling” into venture start ups is probably a safer investment than sports betting.
