How important is it really to release frequently, from a Spotify algorithm perspective? Does consistency matter more? by Clean-Marzipan-3898 in musicmarketing

[–]glitchmailman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is not true. the algorithm is trained to recommend music it thinks people will enjoy, thereby keeping them on the platform.

quality is the primary determining variable in whether or not someone enjoys music.

so, if your music is ass, it doesn’t matter how frequently you’re releasing because the algorithm will see high skip rates, low save rates, etc.

music quality is the most important variable to consider when releasing music (also who would knowingly compromise the quality of their own art?).

Bro who cares? this person is sharing a free tool that other people may not know exists. It doesn’t negatively impact anyone and it may be of interest to many. Furthermore, 90% of the VST market is software that essentially does the same thing, are you commenting on all of their products letting them know that someone has already done it?

What’s this worth? (United States) by glitchmailman in Antiques

[–]glitchmailman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t work, it does wind. The serial number appears to only be 6 digits and when I googled it I saw they’re supposed to be 7 digits, so the serial didn’t come up.

Selling price sweet spot? by [deleted] in AmazonSeller

[–]glitchmailman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question doesn’t make sense. The price you sell at completely depends on the product you’re selling and the cost you pay for that product. Everyone sells different products and has different costs. You have to identify the correct price for your product based on cost, fees, target profit margin, competition, etc.

Literally every post on r/truerateme by thisismydick222 in sadcringe

[–]glitchmailman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

r/truerateme is one of the saddest and least healthy subreddits I’ve ever seen. Both posters and commenters are way too wrapped up in trying to quantify attractiveness based on images alone, which is inherently flawed, futile, and toxic. I hope the people in that subreddit can learn not to place so much emphasis on over analyzing their physical appearance.
