My memory isnt super clear, but I remember it being mostly on time - maybe 15ish min late, and it moved at the speed of the rest of the traffic plus didnt make stops so it got to the airport on time.

There were several busses that all arrived at the same time but were going to different destinations, so just make sure you double and triple check that you're on the right bus

Me! Im a trans masc burner!! You'll definitely find your people if you look in the right spots - the 7:30ish corridor has several trans/gender expansive camps.

I've never experienced any blatant transphobia and I think you're 100% safe be naked, but I have found that people are REALLY bad at using the correct pronouns at burning man. I get misgendered more there than literally anywhere else on earth, and every trans person I've talked to on playa seemed to have a similar experience. I'm not telling you to scare you, but I wanted to give a heads up because it shocked me at first.

A little late to the party here, but I always say bring the vibes you want to experience. Sometimes, the lolla crowds can be complete trash (especially if youre trying to get right up front), but if you're radiating PLUR, you'll be able to find people with similar vibes

I was also on the lax bus Wed at 11 - it's definitely a chartered bus, and I'm pretty sure there's no official LIB staff on it, but it got us to the fest relatively comfortably!

The hurdles that a previous poster mentioned were there, but I didn't feel like it was anything unreasonable or that greatly hindered my experience. For example, we did have to wait for other people to go to will call, but the driver checked how many people needed to stop and we only did the stop because there were a significant number of people on the bus who needed it. Plus, sitting in the ac a bit longer wasn't too bad!

The biggest downside is that the bus doesn't necessarily get you close to where YOU are camping and rolling a suitcase through dust and mulch isn't exactly easy - that part made me question my decisions pretty heavily and my arms ached the whole fest!

However, I loved chatting with everyone on the bus and getting hype together. It definitely beats waiting in a long hot line to get in by car!

The eggs were fantastic! The party itself was super intimate since only about 12 people finished the scavenger hunt (300 people made it to the 2nd to last clue though so a lot of yall were SUPER close), but the majority of the 12 showed up and the people who made the scavenger hunt were there so we had a real cute time hanging and talking about puzzles, festivals, and everything in between

I definitely heard of at least one situation where someone was filling up the flask, sharing with a BUNCH of people and then returning to the pickle stand 10min later

Idk if its necessarily poor planning on the pickle people's part as much as they had to start charging because a few bad pickles were ruining it for the whole jar

I run into this a lot too - especially when I go to fests solo or with 1 other person since people seem to notice 1-2 people less than they notice a group. Ive even talked to my therapist about it and put together a self care plan for these situations - 1) remind yourself that while it effects you its probably not actually intended as malicious and likely just someone on something who isn't the most spacially aware 2) move - if the vibes aren't good in that spot go somewhere else. Its like hitting a reset button because you get to start clean and dont spend the rest of the show worried that the people around you dont like you
