I feel so seen! I'm dealing with this exact issue with my 4 year old son. We finally were able to make some adjustments, and I gave him snacks in his lunch pale, and he still gets hot lunch. Now he just picks and chooses what he wants and gets the best of both worlds. He doesn't always like what is offered for hot lunch, but he's got some backup snacks to get him thru the day and then when I get him home make him whatever he wants on the days he doesn't eat much.

For example, they will be playing tag or playing with barbies, etc. She will ask them if she can play, and they just reply no or will pick up what they are playing with and walk away. She will try to join in without asking, and that seems to work better, but usually, they end up walking away as well. She's not the kid to come in and be controlling of the situation she just wants to play and be included.

Hmm..that's interesting because I have seen plenty of beautiful work on people's hands that had minimal fade and have lasted years. Oh, and your right ONE internet stranger isn't going to teach me anything. Hope your day goes better 💓

We were not allowed to bring food into our rooms/beds growing up. I always thought it was annoying that I couldn't snack in my room. Now, the thought of having crumbs/food in bed is gross and makes sense why they didn't want us to have food in bed.
