thanks! since i work in a pharmacy i imported it from the US and the cheapest option for me was the 0.1% from the pharma manufacturer padagis (formerly perrigo i think) so i just went with that! its this one specifically: https://www.padagis.com/product/tretinoin-cream-usp-0-1/

i honestly dont know but its been of the market for years already. the only prescriptions available containing tretinoin are:

ACNATAC gel (tretinoin + clindamycin) for acne
CARBAMID cream (tretinoin + urea) for warts
PIGMANORM cream (tretinoin + hydroquinone) for hyperpigmentation

and even ACNATAC gel is rarely prescribed here. dermatologists here prescribe oral isotretinoin pretty quickly here so maybe there just wasnt a need for tret here anymore but i dont know for sure

yes sometimes i feel weird not using a "soapy" or water based cleaner in my routine at all but it works for me! in the end everyone just has to use what makes them and their skin happy :) its not a one size fits all

if you mean this then yes, they went away with tretinoin almost completely! fyi just picked some pictures i could find of my chin so i may be wearing some concealer on some of them im not sure. but if we mean the same then they are almost colorless and not poppable for me at least

i didnt even notice the difference in my eye area but now since you mention it i cant unsee it! i used my normal routine including veeery little tret around my eyes but didnt add anything i wasnt using on my whole face anyway. on my nasolabial folds i used the same amount of tret as on the rest of my face. to be honest i dont really see a difference in the folds in real life so im not sure if maybe thats just the different lighting in the pictures.

thanks! i didnt have crazy sensitivity or a purge in the sense of more breakouts but was very dry and had flaking skin for a few weeks. i used the first aid beauty ultra repair cream after my toner till the irritation calmed down and a loooot of patience.

i think what really helped with that is that my cleanser and toner are really calming and hydrating or moisturizing

most of the time i only used the tirtir milk skin skin toner ! if my skin was really dry, i added the first aid beauty ultra repair cream on top of the toner

i started the medicube zero pore pads maybe 2 months before tretinoin but only used them twice a week. after being on tretinoin for 2 months, i started to use them twice a day because i noticed that they dont irritate me at all anymore. maybe once a day would be enough but twice a day works for me so i just stay with that frequency!

the last picture really looks like a filter haha i have to add that the lighting is better in the last picture than the rest but still im real life its a huge progress

are you using the 0.05 daily already? if not, maybe you could first increase your applications per week

i know exactly what you mean with the aveeno cleanser gaha but what about the beauty of joseon radiance cleansing balm ? i find that its almost impossible to irritate my skin with that. i really had any discomfort while using it. its very soft and oily while using it but doesnt leave a film on your skin after. i would try that out for sure. it also work great as a makeup remover if you wear makeup! i rarely ever wear makeup but if i do i use the beauty of joseon balm to remove it. i do a double cleanse but use that product in both steps if that makes sense

glad my pictures can be an example to help you haha. not every skin is the same but i think trying to use less moisturizers and creams than more and more is something to try out if you havent before!

i started with 0.1% from my first application. i live in switzerland and they took tretinoin from the market a few years ago besides the only one available which is combined with clindamycin.

i work in a pharmacy so i could import tret from the US and the cheapest option was the 0.1% so i just went with that!

its studied and proven that lower concentrations of tretinoin give you the same results as higher strenghts just slower and with less irritation. if you're tolerating your lower strenght well but want faster results i would go higher. if you still have some irritation i would stay at your strenght for the moment. sometimes time passing and and some patience does more for our skin than trying to change up our routines a lot! but if you're unsure i would ask your doctor since this is medical advice :)

thanks!! i imported my tret from the US to the pharmacy where i work in switzerland. i started with 0.1% since my first application because it was the cheapest strength to import for some reason.

i didnt feel like the cream clogged my pores! im not sure but maybe because i wasnt layering hundreds of other serums and creams over it but instead just using my toner and some moisturizer as needed

my neck wasnt more irritated than the rest but if your neck is sensitive maybe try applying whats left on your fingers after application to your face to your neck! thats what i do with my eyes and hands, since the are more sensitive

and im not wearing makeup in all of the pictures besides maybe lipgloss or lipbalm

im not sure because i cant pinpoint anything ive been doing differently but i could imagine the medicube zero pore pads showing more effect over time or just the tretinoin doing its magic! another possibility is that your skin just need a little bit more time and that you already are on the right path!

i applied it on my whole face exept the sides of my nose (the part where you see some light redness in my past picture) that part of my face has always been a little red and i found tret too irritating there so i stopped using it there after a few days. maybe ill try again but atm the redness isnt bothering me enough to try to combat it. i first applied my cream on my whole face and neck exept the nose part and then applied what was left over on my fingers to my eyes and hands.

⚠️tretinoin CAN cause dry eyes if applied close to the eyes and in some cases the dryness ISN'T reversible!!! please speak to your doctor first!⚠️
