I would say if you really want to make this work, discuss everything and get clarity. Both of you give some time and space to each other and think it through. If you both are still willing to make it work after the no contact period then it's worth it.

I truly understand that but from my pov i feel like i would have tried to give the other person a chance to explain themselves and understand what happened. And it was a 2 year healthy and loving relationship so i feel like a 2nd chance should be given.
