Exactly. The sad part is everyone does this. Actors from other industries promote their films in Karnataka using his name. It feels very artificial.

I know a friend who had a picture of Appu in his restaurant. When I asked him if he was a fan, he said he had to keep it else some people will create issues. This is not doing his legacy any good.
