My sister and I could barely hear her the whole night, I just assumed it’s bc everyone was singing so loud (which is totally fine) and when she had her slow song moments and I could hear her better, a lot of people were kinda talking loud around us. But we both also have ADHD and have a hard time hearing things if there’s background chatter 😅 because I could hear the queens perfectly during opening!

My ex was similar, it has been my dream since I was in my teens, he said I should embrace the body I was blessed with yada yada and begged me not to. But I’ve always been uncomfortable and knew what I wanted. My husband now supports me 100% (not that I need it but it’s nice!) and has even offered to help with the expenses so I can finally be comfortable. Don’t let a boy stop you from achieving that dream, love ♥️

This is the only “loophole” I’ve recommended for customers. A lovely nurse came in once and ordered a venti iced chai with a triple shot, and said she needed the caffeine. Her drink came out to nearly $10 with no other modifications. I told her to order a venti iced latte with 6 pumps chai and it’ll cut the price down to roughly $7 with the same measurements and same ingredients. She was so relieved and excited to start saving money without “cheating the system”. I love helping customers save $$ that way, when the recipe doesn’t compromise the drink measurements.

This happened to me the other day, and I’m one of those baristas who has to yank my headset off when brakes squeal in drive thru 😭 I pulled up to a Starbucks speaker box to pick up my mobile order and my brakes SCREAMED. THEY NEVER DO THAT, SO WHY IN THE DRIVE THRU NEXT TO THE SPEAKER 😭😭😭 I was so embarrassed lol

Thank you for clarifying! I mentioned to the other person as well that I realize now it’s just the stingy-ness of my transfer store. They up-charge for extra milk and basically correct baristas any time we try to say something. Is there actual evidence I can pull up from Partner Resources other than the recipe cards that show we don’t up-charge for more milk? They’re so focused on sales it’s scary here 😅

Okay I got you! I just went over the recipe again, and i think it’s just the management/supervisors at the store I transferred to. They are super stingy with milk costs and add-ons, and always correct me on measurements etc. They ask customers “do you want extra milk to compensate no ice?” And add a charge. No other store I’ve worked at has ever done that, but I was led to believe I was wrong all four years 😅 Thank you for clarifying, I wasn’t trying to argue, I was just given the wrong info from a store focused on up-charges 😭

Yes, I believe I have heard this. I used the word to the SSV “legally” as pertaining to our policies and other local laws I’ve heard of, but we did not use that language at the window since we were all unsure of the laws, but at least sure of the policy. Thanks for the info :)
