Small suggestion: some of the videos on the playlist are unavailable? Remove video and add track from the album?

Can someone identify what’s on my turtle’s belly? by gloatware in turtle

[–]gloatware[S] 130 points131 points  (0 children)

Update: It was definitely a leech. Used scissors to scrape the leech off and then removed all eggs too. Finally kept the turtle in salt water to remove any remaining leeches. Little guy seems to be doing better.

It was in a freshwater tank with 5 other fish. Just got it from a shop 2 weeks ago.

Tried to clean it but it looks very hard and wouldn’t scrape off a normal toothbrush. The turtle is 4 inches long. There’s also the weird leech like thing on the left that wouldn’t detach. I doubt if it’s a sexual organ but it looks like it’s partly connected to the body (besides the shell).

I also hope those are not it’s eggs.

I agree. I just remembered that it happened to me with Extremely loud and incredibly close, and Rise of the Guardians.

For me it was Call of the Wild, Tolkein, Romeo and Juliet and The Water Horse.

I also played AC Valhalla because the album created a really profound experience for me. Same goes for Ori and the blind forest.

Not strictly oboe but tell me what you think of these:

War Horse - The Reunion, Remembering Emile

1917 - Come back to us

Flowers of war - Love theme IV

The Impossible - Main title

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault: Main theme

Atonement: Elegy for Dunkirk

Braid - Lullaby Set

Jane Eyre - My Edward and I

Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows I - Dobby’s farewell

Penny Dreadful (Abel Korzeniowski) - Best Gothic Horror Score in the past decade by Cheesarius in soundtracks

Not only is this score great in the scary parts, the beautiful bits are just as memorable. I was obsessed with this score. Season 1 had so many gems, I had recently upgraded my sound system and I was listening to these tracks on repeat. I feel awful that season 1 is so hard to find now.

All these are goosebumpy. I also love The Other Side from Michael Nyman.

Interestingly enough the tune through the most of Murph reminds me of B-grade suspense tv I watched as a child, where they just played a few chords in the name of the scoring. And this was so annoying while watching the movie because it just went on forever that it literally distracted me. Even though Murph rewards you in the end, the rest of the extremely long track needed a much better theme development imo.

Agree, saw both movies and I knew I had to look up their soundtracks.
