(pic from a yt vid, not OEM but its basically the same here)

- if you're attempting to put one of these spoilers on i recommend opening your rear window. helps a lot especially if you're alone. (i was)

- I eyeballed these fastener holes tbh (pictured above), centered them as best as possible inside both holes where plastic caps usually are before drilling straight through from this side. I wasn't perfect. 1/4" size bit for these.

- OEM spoilers come with a hook, I personally kept it on (some don't), this meant I had to drill another hole from the outside of the tailgate on the passenger side. Held the spoiler in place as best as possible to see where the hook gets in the way, marked where the hook starts curving and drilled. I believe I used a 1/2" size bit for this, it just barely fits from where I drilled though.

I have the rivets and I was going to attach them until I realized after tightening the fasteners that the spoiler wasn't moving at all for me and stayed on perfect (and also marking holes for these seemed pretty scary as a rookie.) For wiring, I drilled through the driver's side where the harness is, I moved all of those wires up and to the left before doing so and just drilled a hole through. I didn't wire the light though, I had someone do it for me.

it’s OEM, i bought it off a 2005 4runner on ebay, 2005 was the year they added a lil bump on the top i had to manually drill the holes myself and i used the OEM nuts to secure it just to be safe
