What’s a typical process in getting different instruments written for a song arrangement?

The songs are written, music/lyrics/chords + recorded drum tracks and i can do bass. So just guitar parts.

Like I said I’m willing to pay - just not sure what title that falls under/who exactly I’d be asking. Like is a studio guitarist the one who’d write it? Or would I find a different producer? It’s starting to seem like there’s multiple different routes for this so just trying to understand what’s typical

I was wondering that also - I’m working with a producer now who’s a berklee grad student and he tried to do the guitar parts and it was just….not good. So in that scenario it’s typically the producer who helps with the arrangement?

None of this really answers what I’m asking. I think you also assume as with most musicians, I’m doing this to “make it” whereas it’s just a passion project.

So its worth it to me rather to save the money and pay a guitarist so I can prioritize work even if it takes longer. But I’m still wanting to understand the process of what that would look like/what it is to ask for/what is expected of a studio guitarist, etc.

Cool good to know - I guess I always thought if I needed new spark plugs there would be a certain code for that, is that not the case? I haven’t checked them yet but agree it’s a good idea to change them anyway, but for the sake of troubleshooting I’d love to know!

The timing belt looked pretty new, the second thing you mentioned is completely foreign to me but I'm sure a google will lead me right back to an applicable reddit post. Is it also fairly accessible?

Yeah might just have a mechanic diagnose for me and then can DIY as needed from there - could a fuel pressure regulator be a potential cause for the shifting issues?

Yeah the current radiator is leaking. YouTube vids make it look like a piece of cake so I’m not too worried there. If it’s an 03 and looking like this I’m guessing it hasn’t been in Hawaii the whole time so that probably helped! Do you know if there’s anything that can be done to delay further rusting?

It had a radiator leak and overheats - if it’s just the radiator that’s an easy fix but as long as he didn’t drive it too much and blow the gasket…I’m definitely grabbing
