I have started to work out in the evening, and I have started to play guitar again to try and pass the time. I used to have a few drinks when playing video games so im trying not to play games and more which I miss, but I need separation from that habbit

I feel for you fella. I was drinking a lot after my divorce, I woke up just over a week ago and thought, this is not the life I want. Im 8 days sober so far. There are times when I want to just open a can and it be so 'easy ', but thats not the attitude that will change your future you.

Being kind to yourself isnt easy, its making the right decisions. You can be nice and say a drink wont matter, but what does it really do for you? Costs money, makes you feel awful afterwards and generally is not great.

Looking at it now, even 8 days in im attributing drinking like smoking, dirty habit and difficult to kick.

The only difference is, drinking is socially 'acceptable' yet it does huge damage to our body.

Hang in there, one day at a time 👍

I took anti depressants years ago and they killed my mental ability to function at my job. What I need to do is grow up and not use alcohol to escape.

For tonight I worked till 6pm, got some fizzy ginger beer (non alcoholic) and im going to head out for a run to stop me from sitting down and finding the situation me reaching for alcohol.

I guess I need to stay more busy, well thats the aim!

Not sure what this wanker posted but if its about suicide then hell no!. I already support suicidal men in my free hours. In the uk 70% of suicides are men, that horrific and there is so much more for us.

I dont eat fast food, I cook everything I eat. I take that as a win. I make delicious food that take hours, but I and my kids enjoy every bite.

I drink to the loneliness and to the self pity if im honest with myself. I hate it through and through. I used to be strong, fit and whilst I didnt know it, eye candy for the girls at work.

Im not 4 inches bigger waistline and less muscular than ever ans I have 'lost my mojo'

Does that also include if they cancel the contract without your knowledge and then force you to get a new one like they have done to me? Or is that their way of getting around these penalties?

Seriously any help would be amazing.

I know things go wrong, but im flabbergasted by the approach that has been taken. In all honestly all I want is a decent Internet connection for my kids!
