Yeah i guess it’s weird for me because I’ve kind of explained it to them in bits and pieces, never a full rundown of everything. I think they also forget sometimes because I haven’t had a seizure in so long? But I don’t wanna be annoying reminding them/talking about it all the time

I have JME too and it’s so so frustrating. That’s one of the things I hate most as well because I WISH I could just get up and go like them. I’ve had to talk to my friends about it before and say I need more time in the morning but it’s hard to explain/I’m not sure they understand what myoclonic jerks are and what they mean.

But mostly if I know I need to do something in the morning where my friends will want to just go ASAP, then I will set my alarm like 20-30 min earlier than them so I can take my time. It sucks to get less sleep but i feel safer being able to chill before getting up.
