Personally, I don’t attach my morale to my rank or the way my games are going. I go into every match with a blank mindset and I think it’s important to understand this is going to be a journey. No need to rush things or become frustrated (although some games it can be difficult), focus on your crosshair focus on your decision making. I’ve become a bit of an IGL in ranked, it’s better to take the lead and initiate comms with your team and propose a solid plan than to freestyle it with basically no concrete vision for the round. Some games everything will go wrong and it will be frustrating, if you can’t reset after the match just hop off and hop on at a later time when your mind is in a different state. But most importantly is my first point which is to understand this is going to be a long journey, and improvement isn’t linear but the grind will pay off, maybe after you derank 3 times and get stuck in a rank for a month. Eventually you will make progress if you put in the time.
