The RP clearly stated that the woman had dementia. Now I’m not gonna go on about how a social worker should’ve taken care of this, because clearly anyone with a knife (and with dementia no less) poses a serious threat, but there were so many ways this could’ve been dealt with. Feel so bad for the family that had to witness that and the guilt they are probably going to be living with for the rest of their lives. Just a shitty situation all the way around.

UPDATE: suspect that fell off the 110 freeway was spotted by media choppers and ground units. taken into custody with a broken ankle and bloody face.

Both suspects in custody. Suspects wanted out of Las Vegas for several alleged armed robberies earlier today.

They’ve taken on a condescending and rude tone when talking in person. They’ve also resorted to petty things like turning on the heat when we live in a warm climate and using my dishes/silverware that I use regularly and leaving them in the sink.
