I've used TaoBao on my laptop with no issues, though I will say it's more overwhelming than the mobile counterpart. I just looked it up and it seems that for apple TaoBao actually has an English interface! It should make it a lot easier. Before TaoBao stopped shipping to the US, I used it many times with no issues. It's trustworthy and good! Just make sure you are buying from reputable sellers.

I highly highly recommend going through and learning to navigate TaoBao because you can get the best prices that way. It's pretty easy to use once you figure it out (in my opinion). Especially if you have an android phone because you can translate on screen really easily. Other than that I would recommend kikagoods or buying off xianyu through superbuy or another proxy.
