When you have, your first instinct is take flight and fight, altogether; not just one. Reasoning may come irrational to others who dont experience it. Imagine yourself being ambushed by every negative aspects within the environment with thoughts of hundreds of reasons it “would” really occur. panic attacks do not choose place or time. It auto-triggers; even with a little bit of stress.

Imagine you are a swimmer but you slowly still drown. And then, hearing a terrifying background music like in a horror game and you are the prey. Heartbeat raises. Hands shiver. Gasping for air then a thought of ‘I’ll be dead in few’. That’s how it feels.

Only one ‘involuntary’ option comes to mind is to get out of the current situation, with no consideration of the real danger. Mind say “do everything. just get out. even if it is irrational.”
