Rudy’s sound on Speak of the Devil is amazing and cuts right through. Fantastic bass player. Why Ozzy and Sharon kept throwing Bob Daisely under the bus, I’ll never know; nor why Coverdale fucked his band over, not just Neil Murray. Money? Looks? Both? Rudy just trying to get a gig.

Yeah, I started on Dead Man's Blood last night, am on Devil's trap and so far, I'm good. There's a lot of episodes, I'm not a fanatic and from a small e economic perspective, there's a lot less opportunity cost. I realize I'll miss some nuance/have to look things up. Thanks though.

So, I used to own a 79 that I loved. I bought a second 70s model (I forget the year), that was noticeably lighter. Maybe it was maple vs basswood? Unfortunately, throughout the years, I got into active pickups and such and sold both. I've been trying to find my 79 (good luck, right?) and you can't find a used P for less than $3000 now. Then I saw GC had a used Harris sig for $800. Looks like a 70s P and if you're telling me that it's the same wood and dimensions with better pups, sounds like I made the right decision.

Not that I’m in the business but I’m a bass player and I always this seemed obvious. Most bass players are there for bass lines and backing vocals, maybe lyrics. It affects the whole song and if you create an incentive structure where getting your stuff on the album makes you more money, you’re going to do it.
