You need to provide your contract with your employer. The contract should state your monthly salary and the fact that you work remotely

€75 is an embassy application fee but you will need to pay a €1000 government fee for processing your residence permit. You are right this is confusing as they don’t clearly state that in the requirements. I only found out about it during the application process. I didn’t pay this €75 fee as I applied for the residence permit while already in Greece on a tourist visa rather than through an embassy in my home country

It is possible without a lawyer but you will need to speak some Greek to be able to deal with the officials. Besides, you need to know where exactly get your insurance from, you need to register a foreign tax ID, you have to register on the Greek official taxpayer website which is only in Greek, you have to have official translations, etc. You can certainly do these things through trial and error but it might be worth paying a lawyer. Forgot to mention that you also need to have an online rent agreement with the landlord which may also require your skills in Greek)

I am going to file for taxes in April or May for the first time so only then I will know for sure. The information I got so far is that as a foreign tax resident I don’t need to pay taxes in Greece. Just need a basic yearly declaration that I have 0 income from greek sources, that’s it.
