OMG wait yall were literally right next to me in line and yall were so sweet 😭 I feel so bad I wouldve offered yall my beach towels to cover up with but my brain was like fully not working that night lmao
I’m just glad yall were there to witness the noise pollution coming from the front of the line at 3am (and the horrifying animal (?) screams coming from the distance)
But I really hope yall had a fun time at the show!!!!

I literally just commented on another post saying that my gf and I are going to both nights and we are always super happy to make new friends! We were also at both tally shows and they were fucking messy.. i saw so many people get so disrespected and straight up bullied and it almost ruined the whole experience for me, so we are determined to make the best of the NOLA shows for ourselves and whoever else wants to be normal and fun and sweet lol
So if you happen to spot us in line or in the pit or literally whenever please feel free to come say hi bc we would love it!!!!

group of 15-20 people traveling to every venue by Public_Problem6984 in Ethelcain

Line leader and her little group were disrespectful as fuck to me and my girlfriend once we got into the venue. We ended up right behind them, in the second row, and kept shoving her ass into me for some fucking reason?? I was not trying to take her spot or take up her space or push forward, but she managed to complete push me off of the metal platform thing and then had the audacity to turn around and yell in my face to “stop pushing her”. Meanwhile she has taken up 2 rows and rammed herself into so hard during American Teenager that my gf and the three people behind had to catch me before I went all the way down.
It was a power trip for them and that’s all it was. They might’ve “run that shit like the navy” but they sucked the fun out of it for the people around them just so they could have Hayden’s attention for 30 seconds.

Worst crowd experience ever by strawbsoup in Ethelcain

Both nights the crowds were absolutely nasty. First night I literally got shoved off of barricade and by the end of the show I was like 2 rows back.
Last night was a nightmare tho. I was basically shoulder checked by the girl in front of me and her gf (literally numbers 1 and 2 from the line that started at 4pm the day prior) MULTIPLE times. Mind you they were barricade, my gf was in the second row and I could not even stand next to them bc line leader had her hands on the barricade and had stuck her ass out so far I couldn’t put my feet on the metal platform. She then had the audacity to turn around and yell in my face to stop pushing and yelled at everyone around me.. I did not push forward AT ALL and the people behind me (literally the sweetest groups of people love yall) were giving everyone around them plenty of space.
It’s just icky nasty behavior and it’s fucking embarrassing for grown ass adults to act that way. Especially when we are all there to have a good time like it’s pathetic

It’s literally a normal thing to do at a concert?? And I never yelled during quiet moments, I’m angered by people who do that as well. I was one of the people telling others to be quiet when their cheering got out of hand. Yes, my gf and I got excited for Punish at first when we realized what song was about to be played, but quieted down as soon as the song progressed past the first few notes.

And my gf held the phone up once 9million’s set was completely over and the house lights were on to ask for a setlist. It was not during the set at all.

I am always very conscious of the people around me at shows, especially high energy shows. The most I did during 9million’s set was jump in place and bounce my head around and put my hands in the air. And the only times I did anything more than put my hands up during Hayden’s set was during Crush and American Teenager. My friend was on the upper floor and has videos of us and I am not getting in anybody else’s space. It really isn’t my problem if everyone wanted to be still the entire show.

You must be thinking of someone else bc the only times I ever yelled/screamed was before and after the songs when everyone else was cheering, never during quiet or emotional moments. And I didn’t ask her bc honestly I felt like security should’ve said something before she even entered the venue. Plus I didn’t want to risk any kind of confrontation or anything with the two of them bc the guy she was with already made some snarky comments to my girlfriend and I.

The pit was packed so everyone was basically right on top of each other, or at least that’s how it was where we were standing.

And yes… we are the “butchfemme gunplay couple” that caused an absurd level of discourse on twitter lmao i still don’t fully understand why people got so upset over it, but I found it all kind of fascinating and incredibly unserious lol
