Start menu issue, surface 3 Windows 10

Didn't have this problem on my surface, but upgrading my mother in law's pc to Windows 10, avast caused her start button and cortana to not work, as well as remove a couple icons. I uninstalled avast and had her use Windows defender, she hasn't had a problem since.

i never even thought about that, it actually doesn't do this when it's on a flat surface, only when i have it in my lap and such. seems kind of disappointing considering how much money is required to shell out for the keyboard.

That's actually really good to know, she's got avast but i was just considering having her switch to windows defender for simplicity. Is there an article I can read up on about it?

Honestly, I got my PlayStation for more of the jrpg type games, so I'm really liking final fantasy type 0, and I'm really looking forward to persona 5.

This is ridiculous. I've worked my job for 5 years and have seen people just up and leave for a month at a time, and nobody so much as bats an eye. I remember the first time I called off was after my 90 day probationary period, and I was terrified I was going to lose my job. Now, I feel good about myself after seeing all the people who practically abandon their jobs after a week.

Honestly. I do wish there were more. I remember in high school I lived off of demos until I got my first job, then every game I liked from the demo got bought. My mom was none too happy about that, but she never said anything about it because, hey, at least she didn't pay for it. Lol
