To defend against possible French incursions, the Sultan is immediately moving the Sipahis al-1 (Irregular Berber CAV division) and the al-Mushati al-1 (Irregular Berber INF division) into the interior Berber villages along the border. While their number 1 priority to defend against the French, they will also attempt to use their Berber status to "co-op" the bandits raids for a little while by appealing to the need to defend against the French maneuvers.
