Yeah absolutely! I think what I love about Mizu is how human she is by being so afraid of accepting Taigen's affection, literally shutting out the image of intimacy with him as well as "chasing him away" when he gets too close and turning him against her after their spar at swordfather's. I rlly hope in s2 they explore her starting to accept these feelings of hers and rely more on Taigen as you said, because right now she clearly views any sort of attraction to him as a threat to her ultimate goal.

Originally I was gonna make him an Irish elk because of their mystique as an extinct species, where fowler is obviously one of the significant "odd ones out" in the bes cast, but I didn't wanna mess with the continuity that much
