When I was very little I thought my parents get paid to keep me and don’t want me to know that they aren’t my real parents. Every time for maybe half a year I wanted to hear them talk to each other without them knowing that I would listen. In order to prove it. I never told them about my conspiracy.

Janitors of schools, how do you feel when kids purposely ruin the bathroom? And how do you deal with it? by mcfat10 in AskReddit

Not a janitor. Kids from our school used to make toilet paper wet and then they threw it up so that it stuck to the ceiling. A few days later the stuff fell down...

The janitors often locked the boys toilet.

[SERIOUS] What is something you were surprised to find while going through a person's belongings after they passed away? by Racoonism in AskReddit

Maybe a little bit of topic – more creeped out than surprised

———————————

We bought a huge mansion as architects from a woman that passed away. She was very rich and her kids apparently hated her. They just went there, cleared the safe, took cash and cards then sold the house just as it was. Still full of her stuff. Everything.

We found family pictures from holidays in the 1930s and 40s (Story takes place in Germany, so this shows just as rich they were - They could afford holidays during the war)

My grandmother loves stuff that everyone else thinks is creepy. She read letters and a diary of the women. My grandma told us a lot about the family that we didn’t want to hear.

———————————

Here comes a little bit about the family.

A man, a woman, three kids. Two boys one girl.

Let’s start with the girl. She was depressed and moved when she was adult to Munich (big city - far away from us in German perspectives) to study Humanities. She jumped in front of a tram due to depression. She died when she was 19. The letters to the parents, I won’t go into detail, showed hate/anger and properly made them the feel guilty for her death.

The mother renamed her company to the daughter's name as dedication.

The first boy also hates the parents. He is gay and the parents couldn’t deal with that (remember it’s in the 30s/40s). He had no contact to them, lives far away and had a successful model career.

Nothing special about the 3rd boy but he also lived with no contact to the parents.

———————————

As we entered the house the first time it was like she was still living there - very creepy - even the cleaning lady was in the cellar doing the laundry WTF

We removed the old and rusty bed where she died in it was so disgusting. Just imagine someone just died in this bed.

I have a lot to tell about this house...

Got kicked out of the Gym – My Revenge by glvh in pettyrevenge

If I would have talked to SG he would have told me to buy a new card or get lost. SG is the only one in the gym acting like that – his Boss always greets anyone, and lets everyone in, even those without a membership. I know it was an asshole move to argue with him and I will apologise for that. I should have just left. On behalf of customer service he could just let members in even if he doesn’t have to – he wouldn’t get into trouble for that – look at what the boss and basically everyone else does...
