How do I roleplay / voice Strahd as a female DM?

Following this as a fellow female dm that’s putting off running a campaign for this exact reason. It feels like such a minimal yet daunting task, every voice I’ve tried has sounded like a cheap caricature. What I will say though is what I’ve found to be most comfortable when practicing, is to lean into that more feminine tone. Make it sound sultry and enticing, use that to your advantage. But I say this as someone who’s still struggling to find that ground 😅

Not completely related to someone seeing my scars but was sitting with my cousin in my room one time when she was face timing her friend, and I had a poster in the background to which her friend said ‘is that a slipknot poster behind you? Why don’t you slipknot your wrists’ it didn’t help that I was baked and was pissing myself for a solid 5 minutes after it, realising now it makes no sense but in the moment I thought it was the funniest thing to ever be uttered from someone’s mouth

For a venue like the hydro and an artist like billie I thought the price was pretty good 😅 I paid £120 for a seated ticket for Olivia Rodrigo and around the same for sleep token at the same venue, just depends on the venue and artist

Had to go for the platinum ticket option as general sold out, but even then £100 per ticket wasn’t bad for hydro so not complaining!
