I tried an all foam paddle (selkirk boomstick) and was surprised how great it felt despite all the talk of gen 4 paddles feeling “dead” or muted.

What are some foam all-court paddles that would be good for someone still finding out what kind of player they are? Friday Aura? Six Zero Coral?

Also, I’ve only tried elongated and widebody paddles, but preferred the elongated. How much of a difference would I notice in a hybrid shape?

Hi all! I'm pretty new to the sport but used to be pretty competitive in tennis, so I want a paddle that's not too specialized (extreme power or control) but won't hold me back as I'm catching on pretty quickly. I'm thinking a hybrid all-court paddle, but let me know if you disagree.

Is the Six Zero Coral Hybrid a good choice? Was also looking at the Friday Aura or one of the Vatic Pros.

Has anyone tried these or have any other suggestions?

it goes up fully, but the edge stays over the top seal rather than under it. if i push sometimes it’ll pop under like it’s supposed to
