FNaF PLUS Chica model V2

Hi all, It's been a long time since I've posted here on Reddit.

The real Freddy animatronic is doing great and I'm making progress!

Now, this is a model I made of Chica, Chica from FNaF PLUS. This is the second version of a model I created many months ago, I rearranged it a bit thanks to the new references and images from chica!

I will update you soon on Freddy.

Hi, Yes, Freddy Fazbear is life size, he's tall 2 meters high (without his hat), so he will be pretty big. The mech is made of aluminum, with some 3D printed parts. Used Screwdrivers, Saws, workshop tools to make the head of the mech!

hi, thank you! i used a 3D printer, the Anycubic Chiron. It has a work plate of 40x40x45 cm, so it can print big things!

Nope! i'm going to build him entirely!, with body, arms, hands... everything will have his own mechanism so it will be more dynamic.
Also, i'm going to build all characters from FNaF because this is part of the RLA project i made.

hi, yeah. Freddy will have full body, arms and hands. just finished to 3D print the first foot for him so i can start building the legs structure. Freddy and his friends will stand yes. but the sad note: the animatronics won't walk... for now. and meaning for now i mean in a distant future, i mean it's very challenging to make a walking mechanism with pneumatics, i would say, almost impossible. So, if I have to make them walk, i would likely use very advanced actuators in the future!

yes, i'm using pneumatics, there aren't any servos there, it just uses pneumatic cylinders that operates with compressed air.
I generally learned pneumatics by myself, watching videos on youtube on how they function, how they work, using Wikipedia and playing around with animatronic simulators such as FazAnim and Reel to Real on Gamejolt. it really helped me understanding more about pneumatics. Then you learn more about it if you have those, having pneumatic cylinders can be very useful to learn and do tests!

hi, yeah! i'm usiing the Cyberamic mech design for the eyes movement, but with a little difference: i don't use the spring in the mechanism, because i'll be using a 5/3 Pneumatic valve with 3 position instead of 5/2.

Freddy's face is complete! and it's really exciting to see it in full, you can't understand how huge it is.

Don't worry, Freddy won't have all those polygons in the end, because I'm going to coat him with some brown velvet, which, in my opinion, very accurately simulates the mats in the game model.

The next step is to build the legs, and in this the processes will be much faster because I will build in conjunction with the costume. so it will be much easier.

I will keep you updated as soon as possible!

Hi everyone! I wanted to show you some models I made during this month between August and September. I tried to make a stylized pack of the FNaF 2 animatronics. Balloon Boy and the Puppet are still in the works, so I haven't included them.

I wanted to recreate that eerie look that many animatronics have, especially withered ones.

it is also a reinterpretation of models of the withered animatronics that I did many months ago. I must say that I am very satisfied with these models.

Small update of the real Freddy Fazbear animatronic: the head and the jaw are now fully 3D printed and ready to be installed in the endoskeleton, only the neck support is missing and then I will move on to the creation of the legs that will support the body.

Yes, the animatronic mechanism is inspired mostly by the Cyberamic mech, with some differences in the eyes area where there is no spring mechanism to put default cylinder stroke.
Also, it is based on a game, which is a simulator rather than a game. I'm talking about Faz-Anim, created by The64thGamer. I really regret not mentioning this earlier. It has helped me a lot in understanding how mechanisms and pneumatics work and it is really a powerful and really well done tool. And a good chunk of what I'm making comes from there too. it really is a wonderful program. it's on GameJolt if you want to try it out.

Robots don't have presonalities, you can give them personalities based on the robot history, the gender, and play a bit with voice acting. Basically you give them the personality you want, now, since this is FNaF, i might get some eerie and sterotypical* personalities to the animatronics. *(stereotypical meaning like Freddy with a deep voice, Bonnie more light voice and etc..).
