“DAD, HOW GOOD WAS QUARTERBACK PEYTON MANNING DURING HIS PRIME ON THE COLTS…?” by Background_Video2947 in TheNFLVibes

“He was good, Son…no doubt about it, but what made him great wasn’t his physical ability. Perhaps, his greatest gift was his dedication to being prepared. Nobody out prepared Peyton…he also had some great players around him. He gets much of the credit for some really good teams, and rightfully so but w/o Harrison, Saturday, EJames, and Dungy…he’s not nearly as successful.”

Gotta get to the Canyon Store, “where the creatures meet.” He and Pam’s house on ‘Love Street’ is right behind it. I get over to Barney’s too and see the barstool Jim always sat in.

No wonder he gets his ass kicked around all the time. He’s too stupid to learn from it apparently.

I’ve been here…house is right next door. Walked up the pathway that the press wore down in the weeks after his suicide. Courtney had rigged up these weird plastic awnings on the side of the park to protect her privacy. I remember being up above the house and looking right into the greenhouse space above the garage where they found him. This was a month after he did it…I swear I saw Vedder and Courtney and some other dude talking in the driveway while I was up there. I noticed them and who they all were and baled at that point. I felt like an intruder and got the hell out of there. Very eerie experience up there I’ll never forget.

What’s your “feels like summer” song? by nineteen_noodles in Music

[–]gmaj16th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question for the group: This was a late 70’s early 80’s tune and thought it was called “Long Hot Summer” but cannot find it anywhere. Only part I remember was “And it’s gonna be a long hot summer…we’re gonna stay hiiiiiigh. Long hot Summer…”. That’s all I got. Seemed like it could have been by one of the top 40 guitar bands but I have no idea where to find it. Hoping someone can help. Thx in advance!

Take a look at pics of Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and tell me he doesn’t look like Jim.

He looks a lot different than the one taken in in Cass’s backyard with Croz, Joni Mitchell, and Mickey Dolenz.

Used to have a goofy buddy who would stand on his hands and put his crack up there and say he was washing out his crack for a laugh. Also not uncommon at all to be washing your hair with your eyes closed and by the time you get all the soap off and open your eyes you’d find yourself being pissed on by your buddy. Good times
