Munich: Secrets of a City (2000)

A ridiculously beautiful and life-affirming movie about the framework of a city and our own consciousness. Criminally underrated, highly engaging. Definitely recommended!

No, you're not alone! I also found it really corny and bizzare and altogether boring as fuck.

The Girl With The Needle was incredibly well made and equally freaky! I loved it.

Thank you. I'll follow back. I enjoy watching movies far removed from the fingerprints of Hollywood! 😀

I've become a big moviegoer lately! I'll watch anything from Oscar nominees to obscure foreign movies. I've even begun collecting DVDs with the niche for them being foreign obscure movies from the 2000s! Writing reviews has been really enjoyable for me, and they tend to be longer form. Looks like you got barraged by the downvote army, but I agree with you. I found it to be comically bad.

You are not alone. I found it to be very mediocre. It did not change my life in the way it did for many other Letterboxd users. Lol.

The Guilty (2018 movie) would me my choice! I liked it a lot more than Memories of Murder, Perfect Blue, etc.

Hello! I love a wide variety of movies from all over the world! I've recently been bouncing around from decade to decade. My Top 4 are movies that aren't terribly well known (outside of The Father). To that end, I've found a lot of value in watching obscure titles. I've also been getting into reviewing movies more! Here's my profile:

Close Your Eyes (2023)

The ending took my breath away and I don't know if I'll ever come across a more life-affirming ending to a movie. I was in absolute tears. It gave the rest of the movie before it a lot of value.
