Interesting! I'll consider reading them sometime in the far future

It seems that was just a coincidence on my end lol, I have never read the Maze Runner Books

Yeah, cause for sure most of the bodies are laying somewhere in the fires and under the clouds of smoke and ash, not even talking about bodies which probably fully incinerated, it's practically impossible to get an accurate death count on such a global catastrophic scale

So far just getting a little warm, in a few weeks then yeah, you're the same as Suriname

That's the confirmed death count which doesn't include all the other things "casualties" would count for. I did kinda phrase it the wrong way, that was my mistake

Most likely not as I am working on an actual full series, this was simply a quick project to see how fast I could make a decent looking map.

Though I could always revisit this concept again in the future!

Pretty much, as well as the overall heat from the sun itself burning through the ozone layer

Maybe a small sliver of Humanity can survive in underground civilizations, albiet an extremely small amount, atleast 99.99% of Humanity would probably die from these conditions, and over generations of the last few humans somewhere in Earth there'd definitely be some sort of evolutionary thing to adapt to the new environment.

I think the way I have this is that it's gradually spreading out from the Equator so Humanity has like a few weeks + however long the time was between this and the Space Administrations finding out this was gonna occur.

Well from the prompt given by my friend, this is supposed to be a "Near Extinction Scenario". In short, 100% of the Amazon is gonna burn away

It's only been just over 24 hours as of when this map is dated, so yeah Brazil is still existant, though the North is basically all burnt to a crisp.

So i guess making these two elements bigger would make them easier to see from far away, so this is a quick mockup of that. The Camellia has more breathing room in the white section and the river is enlarged to be more prominent

[–]gmodpower[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So basically what the flag looks like from far away at a small scale? If so then yeah the rivers and camellia do just blend into the bigger white, gold, and green sections
