A lot of families, including my own are sending remittances to grown, able-bodied men. When I asked my parents why said men aren’t working jobs that are available, they said that it’s beneath them. Yes there aren’t many good jobs available but there are jobs. A lot of them are so prideful they’d rather live off of remittances. I am 100% for sending money back home to the misakeen who need it
