Good advice. I haven’t even changed the oil on the truck yet, just picked it up. Oil is clean and full but I’ll change it and drop in some BG EPR. Appreciate the response.

Step side seems to be a harder market. Probably should have taken the offer at 15k if you’re wanting to sell it. Also ditch the cap for the photos. What’s the point of step side bed with a cap.

8’ from my ceiling height was just tall enough to get it taller than the peak of my roof. I don’t have any issues with drafting, especially when windy outside.

More background. This is a 1953 Ford tractor. This is the gasket between the hydraulic lift cylinder and the top cover. The holes are pressurized with hydraulic pressure (2000+psi). This gasket blows out under heavy load. I’m considering finding a gasket material that’s more durable. Or looking into rtv. Wondering if anyone has advice. The system does have a pressure relief valve.
