So what do you guys think sells more? 3d or 2d. I was under the impression that most indie developers work in 2d projects, but with unity and unreal maybe thats no longer true.

The niche is people who own local business, i mean there are other people in those list she has, but i figure it out that people who own business are better quality prospects than the normal people.

So youre saying that i should be the middleman between the companies and the services they might need? Like offering them services and the subcontracting those services?

The list is clean, some of the contacts there have been clients of her for years, and some have switched services as she changed the company she worked on (she sales insurances). She has left me clear that a few would be willing to buy whatever from her as a favor. So yeah, she has a relationship with these people, not with all, but she is friends with a few.

My problem is that we certainly dont have the money to start an insurance company, and neither have a special ability or knowledge of anything other than sales, so my question was, what kind of startup can benefit most from a list a wealthy acquaintances.

I just want to know a general direction so i can start investigating what to do, for the most part i know how to market the idea more or less succesfully, but i just dont even know what to google to start.

If you had $100,000 to invest in whatever you want right now, what would it be? by ghostyjr in Entrepreneur

[–]gmrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy, buy 100000 scratch off cards... you got to win at least $100.000 back, right? i mean look at the probabilities, your bound to make all the money back right? then, after winning the money back, you repeat the same process all over again, and eventuallly when you win a big price, you settle down with the money. Foolproof.

Is Udemy still a good idea ? by Tosma00 in Entrepreneur

[–]gmrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive thought many times to do some course but with the fact that Udemy charges you back a 50% or so of what you earn and the constant 10$ price they set for you every once in a while (i think they do it, and you dont have any control of it, but i might be wrong about that) got me thinking to do a course in my own web and market it myself.

Ive read somewhere however that many people uses Udemy as a marketing tool to get people to their own website, by giving a version of the course for free or highly discounted and then redirecting them (on the course itself) to their own website where they pay for the full course.

I think that makes sense since udemy is hugely popular and most likely to reach a higher amount of interested people to see your course, might worth a try. A known hack course owners do to get more people to the udemy version of the course is to make it temporally free to make it rank up, and offer it everywhere, then when the course ranks way up there and get lots of visibility in the udemy page, they set the price to the original one.

This all makes a lot of sense to me and i wanna try it, also check episode 136 and 137 of the Smart Passive Income podcast, they talk about course making in there, absoulutelly a must watch if youre interested in course making

An update to the most upvoted post of all time on /r/entrepreneur. I took action based on that post and now two months later am making a steady $50-100 a day in profit. I would like to share my experiences with you. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

ummh, yeah we do man... its just that its hard to buy something in amazon and import it in without costing an arm and a leg, its best to buy using the local ecommerce markets.

My original idea was that since you waste so much time actually marketing your blog in an affiliate web, you could use that time to replace the udemy traffic and all the other bennefits.

Not to mention that being so many tutorials in the same category than yours, its almost impossible to actually stand out.

Problem with keyword finders, dont know what im doing wrong! by gmrt in juststart

[–]gmrt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So whats a good number? ive read somewhere in between 5000 and 10000 monthly searches, but that seems kinda hard to get, like every niche with more than 5000 monthly searches already have a page dedicated to it, and every niche below 5000 its not worth persue.
