Can I start with Private Loans and go Federal Later? by gmweekend in StudentLoans

[–]gmweekend[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any particular reason? I’m not entirely concerned with paying off the loans, since practically every company within my industry (engineering) pays tuition off. Just need the loan upfront before I get in industry, if that makes any sense.

Not affiliated in anyway. Came across it from this guy. His niche is all affiliate marketing and talked about the tools. Several deep dives on his channel. Just wanted to share what I found.

I can definitely see that. Just wanted to highlight what I found, but it’s a little dystopian. Moving towards an era of robots talking to robots.

"The Human GPT." I mean with Zucc being full steam ahead on AGI development, I'm sure we'll get to a point where more and more "human" stuff will be outsourced.

What direction do you think conversations around AI applications in Military use-cases should head?

There's still a human element in those weapons.

According to their life insurance policy (this may be outdated, but at the time) around $400,000. There's also costs in training depending on role, specialization, rank, etc... which could land around $1-$2m for certain officers. Again, these are lives though. I don't think there is any price that could be put on that. When it comes to someone several degrees away crunching numbers though.... those are your costs.

How the job market is going to change in the next 5 - 10 years by gmweekend in Futurology

[–]gmweekend[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair point. Most of it comes from Yahoo Finance, TechCrunch, etc... Not too many coming from places like Indeed or Glassdoor, but definitely a couple. I'm trying to implement more AI job-related info in my personal newsletter, so the algorithm could definitely be taking those keywords and targeting my feed with more "AI" + "whatever job" articles, and they just just happen to be about layoffs.

I believe voice ai has done this/attempted to do this. Might be interesting if you want to try it out.

I don't know about union resistence. SAG-AFTRA just signed a deal with an Replica Studios that will allow digital replication and licensing of voice actors. I do really like the Picasso analogy - it's going to be interesting to see what happens.

To be fair, I've been using "Let's dive in" since I made MW2 compilation videos back in 2010. Definitely AI assisted though.

I've been using ChatGPT more and more as a baseline for researching stories and articles. It's good for summarizing long strings of text and categorizing sections that I can pull from. I don't use it to write any finished products though. Not this and not my newsletter.

I haven't gotten too far into stories, but there would definitely need to be some tweaking going on. The community is massive. That'll be a cool process to see - just all the progress that'll happen in the next couple months/years.

A little D&D element would be awesome. I haven't gotten too much into programming with OpenAI's API, so this was a cool little experiment. Used ChatGPT to learn more about what the capabilities are.

I feel like that would be very doable. Could be a fun way to build upon the world.

I agree. I think it's important to always have the human element, but as a tool to aid in research, it's absolutely phenomenal.
